ABOUT ROBERT KEYES

I was born and raised in poverty, and I worked my way up through hard work and determination to become a successful Oklahoma businessman. I understand firsthand how a strong economy creates opportunity. Today, I serve as President and CEO of Associated Environmental Industries, an environmental drilling and construction company based in Norman. Alongside my wife, Sandy, I have founded and co-founded multiple business ventures, creating jobs and supporting working families across Oklahoma.

That experience is why I am running for Oklahoma State Senate District 24 to serve Moore, south Oklahoma City, and north Norman with experienced conservative leadership.

From Hard Work to Business Leadership

Over the years, I have built an international reputation for excellence in the groundwater industry—an industry vital to Oklahoma’s economy, agriculture, and energy future. I was recently elected Treasurer of the National Ground Water Association and serve as Chairman of NGWA University, powered by Oklahoma State University. Through this global education program, I help train the next generation of skilled workers while strengthening Oklahoma’s workforce, protecting water resources, and supporting long-term economic growth.

National Leadership in the Groundwater Industry

With decades of experience running businesses, I understand how government policies impact everyday Oklahomans. I have spent my career navigating excessive bureaucracy that can stifle small businesses, drive up costs, and limit access to quality healthcare and essential services. I have also led efforts to protect Oklahoma’s water and energy resources from overreaching government interference because responsible stewardship and economic growth go hand in hand.

Experience Navigating Government and Protecting Oklahoma

I am deeply committed to education and opportunity for the next generation. I founded the faith-based Morning Dove Foundation to help prepare young people for careers of the future and launched a weekly before-school Bible study to mentor students in leadership, responsibility, and service. I believe strong schools, workforce training, and community values are essential to safer communities and a stronger justice system.

Commitment to Education and the Next Generation

As a husband, father, and grandfather, I understand the values that matter to families across District 24.

My family and I share a love of ranch life, and we operate a horse ranch near Purcell, Oklahoma. Sandy and I are active in our local church, ministries, and veteran support initiatives. We cherish time with our three grown children and eight grandchildren, and we are preparing to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary.

Family, Faith, and Ranch Life

I am ready to put my experience to work for District 24.
