A Conservative Leader Built by Business, Faith, and Family

Robert Keyes knows firsthand what hard work, determination, and opportunity can make possible. Born and raised in poverty, Robert worked his way up to become a successful Oklahoma businessman and respected leader in the groundwater and environmental industries.

In 1992, Robert founded Associated Environmental Industries as a water-well and environmental drilling company. Today, he serves as President and CEO of Associated Industries, a family of companies providing drilling, construction, engineering, geology, environmental consulting, and remediation services across the central United States.

Alongside his wife, Sandy, Robert has founded, co-founded, and grown multiple business ventures—creating jobs, supporting working families, and contributing to Oklahoma’s economy.

About Robert Keyes

With nearly 50 years of industry experience, Robert has built a national reputation for leadership in groundwater, environmental services, and responsible resource management.

Robert serves on the Board of Directors of the National Ground Water Association and is the organization’s President-Elect. He has spoken throughout the United States and Canada on groundwater and environmental issues and has helped lead major projects involving municipal water supplies, military installations, refineries, environmental remediation, and infrastructure.

He is also the last original founding member still serving on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Ground Water Association, where he has held every major leadership position. Robert serves on advisory councils for both the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

National Leadership in the Groundwater Industry

Robert has spent more than 25 years working with lawmakers in Oklahoma City and Washington, D.C., to advocate for small businesses, private-property rights, responsible water policy, and Oklahoma’s energy industry.

As a business owner, he understands how excessive regulation, rising costs, and government bureaucracy affect employers and working families. He believes responsible stewardship of Oklahoma’s natural resources must go hand in hand with economic growth—not be used as an excuse for government overreach.

That real-world experience is why Robert is running for Oklahoma State Senate District 24: to provide Moore, south Oklahoma City, and north Norman with proven, conservative leadership.

Fighting for Oklahoma Businesses and Property Owners

Robert believes Oklahoma’s future depends on strong schools, skilled workers, safe communities, and opportunities for young people to succeed.

He founded the faith-based Morning Dove Foundation to help prepare young people for future careers and launched a weekly before-school Bible study focused on leadership, personal responsibility, faith, and service. He is also involved in workforce education initiatives designed to strengthen the groundwater industry and prepare the next generation of skilled professionals.

Investing in the Next Generation

Robert is a husband, father, and grandfather who understands the values and concerns of families throughout District 24.

He and Sandy share a love of ranch life and operate a horse ranch near Purcell. They are active in their local church, Christian ministries, and initiatives supporting veterans. They cherish spending time with their three grown children and eight grandchildren and are preparing to celebrate 47 years of marriage.

Robert’s life has been shaped by business, faith, family, and service—and he is ready to put that experience to work for the people of Senate District 24.
